Hoping someone can help me find a marriage for HELENA V DENNIS born Bromley in 1930 mothers name was Hopkins.Was told she had a married a man called TOWNSEND but can find no marriage for her to that person only know her surname by her death. But don't know when she died was supposed to of died in the street.info however small will be greatly appreciated.

A bit of an anomaly with her birth.  FreeBMD notes the 1930 birth entry, which is for Helena W Dennis mother's name Hopkins, as a "late entry" for a Q2 1913 birth.  There is a marriage for a Nellie Dennis to Stephen J Townsend registered Chipping Norton Q3 1928.  Does any of that add up?

Friend said certificate says Vera Townsend.

Presumably if your friend has the cert then he/she would have the date/place of death and the informant and address - all good clues!

Problem is its different to what is being said Death cert said she died in doors and name is Mary.The person who had to report to police re the death in the street gives the same dates etc for this  and named as Vera so was hoping to get a death for this Vera Townsend but have found nothing that connects to this family DENNIS. The person who the police contacted were looking for a relative to the Dennis family which he is.We have only just discovered all this after searching for an adoption.Its hard to explain sorry.We are just trying to find the truth re the deaths.

Sounds complicated.  You say the date of death is common to the indoors and the street deaths - when/where was it/them?
