« on: Tuesday 10 November 15 01:09 GMT (UK) »
This is the information I have so far.  I am trying to trace his parents.

He married a woman named Foundy in 1782, in Castor, Northamptonshire.

Thanks

I am unable to find the marriage but from the information below my guess is they married a little later.
I cannot find a birth for John in Northamptonshire.

A pure guess on my part but  would think he was probably born in the North of England or Scotland where the name is more common.

I have just traced my wife's family back to John and Foundy (they were her great x 4 grandparents) - then get stuck. Good luck, and if you get any further I would be delighted to hear from you.

I have found some earlier baptisms at CASTOR, NORTHAMPTON, ENGLAND.
These were on family search but not Freereg. Father John mother on 3 all spelt differently.

Elizabeth 1793
Martha 1794
Mary 1796
Sarah 1797
John 1799 – he went on to marry, one of his daughters was Foundy

Then there is a gap to 1813?

Sadly no marriage for John senior which might help to find their parents.

Ah, I didn't have Elizabeth or Mary, but another SEVEN making TWELVE in all.
Anne 1801, Robert 1803, Frances 1804, Thomas 1809, Phebe (sic) 1810, didn't find an 1813 one, but then a gap to my wife's ancestor Charlotte in 1819

Hi
I have also just traced my line back to John Graham Snr. He is my 5th Great-Grandfather. Please update if you find any info on his parents or the Foundy line and i will do the same.
