The only thing I can add is that there is mention of a James Harvey Connell on the Ancestry web site but I have allowed my membership to lapse and could not view it. If you happen to be a member, you could take a look.

Hi Ian  yes James Harvey Connell was Jeannies father he was killed in action 2nd Dec 1917  he was my great uncle tx for your input I have him in my tree on ancestry

the cemetery record for Galston, Darvel and Newmilns are on deceasedonline but i cant cant find a Jeannie Frazer on them- i'm  assuming she was married to William Somerville Frazer.

I am looking for grave information for a Jeannie Connell  born 1907 died 1974 in Newmilns her mothers name was Gibbs wondering what cemetary she is buried in and plot number
