Louisa Hulls/Hull c.1873 Ware.

Help please!
I have Louisa Hull/Hulls aged 8 so born c.1872-4  in the 1881 at Mount street with her parents Alfred and Mary along with siblings,  brother William is also given as 8yrs ( b.1872) and I have him, but I cannot find a birth for Louisa or any other information on her.
Can anyone shed any light on this young lady for me please.

Transcribed as Louis but on index page as "LOUIA" . . . . .

suspect it may very well be a typo

Thanks for taking the trouble Ray, unfortunately I'm pretty sure this was actually Louis Hull and died soon after Qtr.2 Luton 3b-292.

Different tack.

1881 has mother-in-law Jane Adams with them.

Marriage Dec 1865 Whitechapel 1c 874 Alfred Hulls / Mary Adams
 
 Birth Jun 1874 Whitechapel 1c 351 Louisa Hull
 

 Another thing to note is that 1881 Alfred is a Bargeman.
 

Is the marriage detail why you have entitled the thread "Hull/Hulls"?
What details of this family group do you have, that you are happy with?

Hi Ray

You have them right in 1881 and the marriage is right for Louisa's parents. Bargemen/Watermen run through all branches of my family with Alfred being no exception.
I put Hull/Hulls because in some transcribing Hull is used but more often Hulls which is correct.
I have all of this family except for the mysterious Louisa and because all of the family are born in Ware /Grt Amwell area and she is said to be so in 1881 census it never occurred to me it could have been elsewhere.

The Whitechapel birth certainly fits but I guess the only way to prove it is with birth certificate.
Now to try and find her after 1881.

Does Louisa appear anywhere other than in that 1881 census?  If not, maybe she exists only as an enumerator error?

I see that the couple baptised their children in Great Amwell:

Hi and thank you avm228, I think you may well have cracked it.
Because of the age given in 1881 ( the only appearance of Louisa) I didn't think to look earlier for her.
Sad to think that for one reason or another she should appear then if this is the case.
