Sligo Union Workhouse records - Amelia HALL 1849
« on: Monday 23 November 15 23:48 GMT (UK) »
Would someone be able to tell me what records survive for Sligo Union Workhouse.  I see the periods 27 Nov 1848 to 17 Apr 1849 and 28 Mar 1854 to 3 Aug 1859 are on FindMyPast.  Are there records earlier than 1848 and for the end of 1849?

I am looking for an Amelia HALL who was an orphan sent to Australia on one of the Earl Grey scheme ships "Eliza Caroline" which departed from Plymouth on 31 Dec 1849.  The shipping record says she was 16, Episcopalian or Church of England and from Sligo (no town mentioned).  Her parents may have been William HALL and Ann TANSEY.

Any help much appreciated.
