Parents of Jeanette Reaume(Rheaume?)

I am trying to trace the parents of Jeannette Reaume(abt 1916-2004). In 1921 family living in Windsor Ontario. Father shown as Raymond A and mother as Loma. There is a marriage 7 Jan 1914 Windsor for Raymond Reaume and Loma Reaume(cousins?). Loma is born 20 Nov 1882 Essex Ontario and shows up in 1901 as Saloma and 1911 as Lorna. Raymond is harder to trace. There are border crossing records at Detroit for Raymond in Oct 1943 and Loma in Sep 1943. There are burials in St Alphonsus Cemetery Windsor for Loma 1882-1970 but Raymond A shows 1881-1907 and family name spelt Rheaume and no idea who they are buried with.

1921 Windsor City, Essex North Census shows Raymond A Reaume, Retail Store? Keeper.  Born c1882.  Birthplace for Raymond and parents: Ontario.  Raymond was of French origin. Loma could be Lorna.
Added:  Jeanette, age 5 and Pauline, age 4 (both now deceased)

Marriage certificate for a Raymond A Reaume and Loma/Lorna Louise Reaume.  Dated 1914.  Raymond was born in Windsor?, Ontario and was a Grocer.  Name of father could be Neal (not Nene) Reaume? and Marie Marantine?  Cannot read Lorna's place of birth.  Her parents were Patrice Reaume and Rose D***ville?  Witness was Jas. U? Reaume.

J Neil Reaume, age 62, born United States.  Marie, age 59.  Laurencia, age 30. Raymond, age 28.  Eugenie, age 21.  Everyone else, born Ontario. J Neil's occupation:  Grocer.  Raymond's occupation: Grocer.

I have followed the Joseph N Reaume family back to 1891 and am attempting to tie in my Raymond A to that family. There is a birth for an Annie Louise Reaume 1886 Windsor with parents Joseph Neal Reaume and Mary Marenlette. The marriage cert for Raymond and Loma gives parents as Neal Reaume and Mary Marautre. I dont know if it is a case of clerks butchering French names or what. Evidently the Ford City area of Windsor was heavy french speaking.

U.S. Social Security App for Pauline..., born 1917 "Windor", Essex, Canada.  Parents Raymond A Reaume and Loma Reaume.  (I don't like to give exact details for "recent" deaths.)  I can send her married name and exact birth and death, if you are interested

It may be a case for butchering names but also the few certificates that I've read have writing that "flows" which while it is mostly neat, makes it difficult to read what is actually written.

Joseph N., age 52 (August 21 184?), born United States.  Mary, age 49 (June 30 18??).  Raymond, age 19 (born 22 September 1881) and Eugenie, age 12 (born March 17? 1888).

1891 Essex North census
Joseph N, age 42, Mary M, age 39, Angelina, age 14, Naurentia, age 11, Raymond, age 9, Eugenia, age 2.

1881 Essex.  District of Windsor
Joseph N. Rayome, age 33, born USA.  Mary, age 30, Angalien, age 4, Lorentia, age 2.  Others born in Ontario.

Parice Vigneu, age 36.  Nettie Vigneu, 30 and Bell Vigneu, age 6/12

Do you already have Joseph "Nil" Reaume's certificate of registration of death?  Mr. Reaume was apparently born in Detroit, Michigan, August 21, 1848.  His father was Hypolite Reaume, mother was Justine Marentette. He was a retired builder and contractor.  He passed away in 1936.  The informant was Raymond A. Reaume, son.  Mr. Reaume was buried in St. Alphonse? Cemetery.  There is a little more information on the certificate, but you may already have a copy of it?

It appears that Raymond A and Loma are either buried with or noted on Hippolyte Rheaume's (Raymond's grandfather?) marker.

While I can muddle through the french on the marker, if you would like an exact translation, I can contact my mum.  (If you haven't already translated it.)
