Maria Palser baptism
« on: Wednesday 02 December 15 13:46 GMT (UK) »
Hello

My great great great grandfather Joseph Tubb, born in 1798 in Bethnal Green is residing in Birmingham in the census with his family, including his wife Maria, whom according to the 1851 census was born in Coley, Gloucestershire and his son Frederick, born in 1841 Birmingham

According to a marriage record, Maria was born Maria Palser

I am not sure if her baptism is this one;

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FQHT-7RX

or this one;

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:JQ37-3S6

Both are possibilities, though the one at Wooton At Edge is more likely since it is closer to Coley, or Coaley

I would be grateful if someone could offer some advice on this

thanks

Hello
If you look also marrying in Birmingham St Phillips at the same time as Maria
Elizabeth Palser 19.1.1816 to William Griffin
George Palser 11.5.1816 to Elizabeth Hands (burial 1792-7.12 1857 Edgbaston)
Amelia 26.2.1821 Thomas Maunton.
also at St Martins
John Palser and Sarah Blunt 19.9.1814 (John 1791-1832 St Mary ?)

If they are siblings where are they baptised?
There are two couples who come to Birmingham in the 1790's
Samuel and Mary 1792 onwards
George and Mary from 1798.
A burial for Thomas born 1792 -13.3.1870 Aston.
Nothing before that.

But the census has a William and Patience from Coley born 1775 and  1781 at Birmingham -could it be them?
Quick look in Gloucester and I'd go for Wootten too but not had a good look.
Time on library computer ran out
