How to search by address?
« on: Wednesday 09 December 15 19:46 GMT (UK) »
Hi guys,
I am looking for advice for something I have NEVER managed to do which is to search by address. I recently got a marriage certificate which has proved my research incorrect. Now all I have is a name of father and and an address at the time of marriage. I know my ancestor was living at 43 Herbert Street in Cardiff at the time of her marriage and that her father was called Edward O'Neil. I don't know where he was born. I think his daughter Catherine O'Neil was born in Newport.

How can I search by the address in case I can find her mother and siblings that way, thats only if it was a family home and not somewhere she lived in her own.

Thank you

You can search the census by address on Find My Past. Or you can search by address on the 1939 register

What sort of date are you looking for?
