Help find my grandparents

Looking at FreeBMD there are three births between 1931-1938 with the surname Wright and mother's maiden name Cockcroft. I'll not post their names as they may still be alive and RootsChat have a living person policy. Possible siblings to your Mum?

On this site select birth at the top,  surname Wright,   Spouse/mother surname. Cockcroft,
Type 1930 in first year box, 1940 in second year box. and click on find, they should show up.

I was wondering who was looking after these youngsters while mum was working in the munitions factory and living in the hostel

Looks like Harold Frederick Wright could be the one b.11/10/1904 (in Blackpool) who died Jun.1974 Blackpool & Fylde.

Cannot see any likely birth for a Mary Cockcroft of similar age who was born in the same area and there are too many Mary Wright deaths in Blackpool and Fylde district to know which one could be her.

You definitely need the details from the marriage certificate to confirm their ages, and names of their fathers, occupations to progress any further back with either family.

Hi Jo, I have just tried Mike's suggestion and it does give 3 results.  Make sure you are typing in the correct boxes and the spelling of Wright and Cockcroft are correct.

Blimey it worked. Thanks everyone. I had Mary in the search!! Took her name out and it worked. Thanks again. These must be mums brothers and sister. I will work on these next 😄
