What happened to Jane Swain and her three daughters
« on: Saturday 09 January 16 21:11 GMT (UK) »
Jane Swain born 1858  in Grantham, Parents are William Swain and Ann Judson.

I think I have a marriage for her in 1877 Nottingham to James Harrison.

They have 3 daughters

Ann Jane b.1877
Emily b.1879
Mary E b.1880

I can remember seeing a death in the newspaper archives for a Jane Swain in Nottingham with her dad down as the late William Swain but cant remember when, also can never find anything for James Harrison.

In 1881 Jane and her daughters are living with William and Ann in Grantham but nothing after that apart from in 1891 Emily Harrison is living with Jane's brother John Swain in Grantham (Which is down as Jno S Wain)

Hi Eilleen,

Yes I have that info already, that is Jane's Mother Ann.

The last I have of Jane or her children is 1891 when Emily is living with Jane's brother John.

The thing that I found difficult to understand was when I saw the report in the paper for her death her name was given as Swain not Harrison.

I did save that record but since lost it.
