Emmanuel Schools Forest Gate.Walter Green 1874-1961.

I have a requisition for a certified copy of my grandfathers birth certificate which was made for the purposes of the "Elementary Education Act 1876" and dated 25 April 1879.
It is requested by Mrs Watkins ,Emmanuel Schools,Forest Green,schoolmistress.
Although it clearly reads Forest Green it should read Forest Gate (I am sure of this looking on line!).
The copy of the certificate on the reverse dated 2 May 1879 shows his father,also Walter Green,farmer,and mother Esther (formerly Smith).
My grandfather was born in West Hanningfield Essex,his father a butcher and farmer owned land and property in West Hanningfield but was declared bankrupt in 1878 and ended his days as a dock labourer in Tilbury Docks.
I would really appreciate any information as to whether the family did in fact move to Forest Gate for a short period .In 1881 they were living in East Tilbury Essex.

There appears to be a Green family tree on Ancestry which shows the following

As late as  April 1879 a Son Alfred was born in Hannningfield
by October 1881 son Thomas  as born Orsett

I cannot as yet find out any other information, pity there wasn't a birth in Forest Gate and you would have come concrete evidence for an address

They seemed to move around the Thurrock and Grays areas

The Green Family Tree on Ancestry is my tree!
I am inclined to think that in all probability they did not move to Forest Gate,although that must definitely have been their intention.
