Lydia Payne - Hinckley
« on: Sunday 17 January 16 19:13 GMT (UK) »
Hi

I can see a Lydia Payne being buried in Hinckley in 1864, aged 80.

Can anyone spot this lady on the various census' (or in other resources) as I am trying to establish if she has a connection to my research.

Also, can anyone help me establish if the Lydia Payne who died in Hinckley in 1825, aged 60 was married?

Many thanks

TB

Nothing very helpful jumping out when searching for someone who'd be about 80 in 1864

on 1861 in Hinckley there's a Lydia Payne aged 64, a widow b Bedworth, Warwks, working as a silk ribbon weaver. She's lodging with a Gray family who are all local.

Alternatively there's an Ann Payn aged 78 with her son Charles.

Thank-you.

I can see a Richard Pane marrying a Lydia Hutcherson in Hinckley in 1789 and wonder if this is the Lydia who dies in 1825.

I am trying to tie a Lydia to a William Payne, born abt 1804 in Hinckley who had a daughter named Lydia in 1826 following his marriage to Ann Hampson in 1825.  I cannot find any details on this William's parents and I am wondering if the unusual name given to his first daughter may mean that his mother or grandmother was also a Lydia?

Thanks in advance
