Hello group, I have been searching for the service records of my uncle Harry Garrett for some time and have only managed to find his medal card.  I have always though that they must have been 'burnt' but I've just had a thought - I wonder if, because he enlisted in WW2 as a driver could his records be kept together and therefore not available???
Boyes -  Hamilton (Scotland), Tasmania, New Zealand, Tottenhill, Chester, Canada
Garrett, Garratt - Framfield, Maresfield, Piltdown
Burchett - Warbleton, Heathfield, Hellingly, Halland
Ripley - Hellingly

His Regiment No. is 38167.  He was born 9th May 1899, Maresfield, East Sussex.  In WW2 he was in the RAF as an ambulance driver.  Sussexgirl
