1826 Will of Thomas KEARNS
« on: Tuesday 26 January 16 05:58 GMT (UK) »
Being new to Irish research, I don’t know where I can access a copy of a Will, in particular the following.

At the rear of "Index to the Prerogative Wills of Ireland, 1536-1810" by Arthur Vicars (1897), there are 2 pages (being pages 510 & 511) headed ;
“The Hawkins Collection of Wills, 1771-1852”.

I am very interested in one of those Wills, in particular ;
"1826 KEARNES, Thos., Cuffe-street, Dubl., builder. (Signature of testator and witnesses obliterated)"

Can anyone help me please?

Regards
Grantley

Thomas Kearns, late of Baggott Street and formerly of Cuffe Street, bricklayer

(possible son of Thomas, builder, died 1828?)

Thank you to you both.

I do appreciate your help.

As it turned out, we are all searching the same places and revealing the same stuff, which is great.

I am surprised what is available today, compared to about 8 years ago when I last looked at my Irish roots. I do have other branches to explore, but in their turn.
