Lincs to the past problem
« on: Wednesday 27 January 16 21:09 GMT (UK) »
Hi All,

Usually my access to Lincs to the past is fine, but today the images won't appear and I can't access anything, so is anyone else having problems?

There was a twitter from them yesterday to say they were having problems. LCC have had a cyber attack and Lincs to the past was affected. They have IT working on it but not yet up and running fully again.

According to the lady on the TV last night they do not want to compromise security by putting their websites back on until the security has been thoroughly checked. Personally i don't think it will be before Monday at the earliest.

Update on situation from LCC ...
Following a malware attack the majority of our system will be back online by tomorrow morning. No data has been stolen.

It was working for me yesterday and it's working today (as regards seeing parish register images).

Perhaps the form that you seek can be downloaded from here - http://tinyurl.com/z24ls3n
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Yes I could look all I wanted to on Lincs to Past but the section on the image page was totally inactive and still is when I last tried today, and yes I was signed in. But thanks for the info that page seems to be working
