Headstones / Obits for Astley Bridge and Farnworth
« on: Friday 29 January 16 15:10 GMT (UK) »
Good Afternoon

I am wondering if anyone could help with headstone and obits for the following.

1922 Sarah Lever died in the White House Hotel and was buried in Astley Bridge Cemetery  1BT14

1884 John Isaac buried in unconsecrated ground Farnworth Cemetery N415

Many Thanks in advance

Regards

Moo

The cemetery  in Farnworth come under Bolton Council as I would suspect Astley Bridge would also.
I know this as my daughters grave is in Farnworth Cemetery.
I do not have a e.mail address for Bolton Council but here is the telephone number 01204 334499
Hope this is of help to you.

Hi, You may have already found your information, but have you tried the site deceased online?  There is an entry for Sarah Lever buried 12/06/1922 and it looks as though there were 3 other burials at Astley Bridge Cemetery.  John Isaac is also mentioned buried at Farnworth Cemetery 11/08/1884 and 3 other buriels.  I used to live in Astley Bridge as a child and know the cemetery well.
