Hi Sandra, I have had a chance to go through the details you supplied to me, some great info here, thank you.
I now know the reason I could not find Patrick sailing to America in 1910. I had (wrongly) assumed he emigrated from Ireland but as you discovered, he emigrated from Greenock in Scotland where he was working at the time. Thanks again.

There was a petition for naturalization ( Eastern District, Pennsylvania) for Peter Cannon - 1542 N Newkirk Street - labourer - born 4 September 1897 Donegal - immigrated from Londonderry 26 September 1925 - arrived New York 5 October 1925 - on the California -
Patrick Cannon - 14 St N 25 th St and James Bonner 2328 N. Masher St signed the affidavit of petitioner and witnesses.

Cornelius Patrick Cannon (son of Peter and Mary) shows on US Social Security Applications and Index - born 5 June 1933 and passed away 12 June 2002 - Father Peter Cannon and Mother Mary Walsh. Last Residence 19056 Levittown, Bucks, Pennsylvania.

James Cannon (son of Peter and Mary) October 21, 1930 - passed away June 9, 2013  Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Peter and Mary Cannon. Mr Cannon was a 1948 graduate of Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA. He worked and retired from Raytheon Corp after 28 years. He was a past president of the HOA in Salters Cove, a lifetime member of the American Welding Society and a lifelong Phillies fan. Mr. Cannon was preceded in death by brothers, John and Cornelius Cannon and a sister, Mary Nelli etc etc

Hi Sandra, I can't thank you enough for all this information.It is amazing! Patrick and Peter Cannon were from a HUGE family. there were at least 11 brothers, my own Grandmother Mary Cannon Gallagher was one of their sisters.
