Robert Francis Finlay of Nairn died 10/6/1953 at Ripon,  per 6/10/1953 entry at London registry.

Gosh, a lot of information in such a short time. It certainly looks like the col. R.F.Finlay was the generation down; brother to great aunt Edith rather than uncle. Thank you all so much for getting into this for me.
