Yes, I've posted on there. ;)

That's how the lady in California was able to contact me.

It would seem that there were two Chapels in Old Bridge Street... but I'm unsure where the Nixon Terrace one was exactly.

The Nixon Terrace Chapel (Salem) is still there- type 'nixon terrace, morriston' into google maps, using Streetview from the start of Nixon Terrace go down the street a bit and the chapel is first building on the left.

Tirp-enry Street is marked on this 1897 map - but not Nixon Street. But you can work out which one it is - and the Chapel is marked at the Eastern end.

There are a couple of chapels around the Tir-penry area, Also, slightly north of Tir-penry, near the Pentre-poeth Hotel, you can actually see a "Sun Sch" marked.

The Herald, Sat July 31, 1915 in a tribute to John Jones Jenkins, 1st Baron Glantawe, Mayor of Swansea 1869, 1879 and 1880 referred to

".... At the centenary of Sunday Schools, celebrated in November (1880), the new Mayor presented the scholars of the town with 14,500 testaments, an act of generosity which not only served to commemorate the occasion but provided the children with a pleasing memento of the day. ..."

The act of generosity was reported in The Cambrian, 12 Nov 1880 -

"... thereby manifesting his generous care for the children themselves and for the interests of the valuable institution, the Sunday School."

Many Thanks for the map and further info hanes teulu, - much appreciated.

Someone on the Morriston Forum has suggested that the Sunday School concerned was most probably at the Seion Newydd Chapel. However, I see that that was a Baptist Chapel. Margaret Rees's father, Evan Rees was Baptised at The Wesleyan Methodist Tabernacle Chapel in Morriston, and so I was expecting the Sunday School that his children went to to have been a Methodist one. But perhaps people were more flexible about denominations then? I don't know...?
