]Abigail RICHARDS of Penzance married Richard ROUPE/ROOP of Illogan at Madron on 25 April 1728.  They had four children between 1729 & 1737. He was christened at Illogan in 1697.  He is buried at Madron in 1760.  I am searching for her birth/baptism and her death/burial.  Any help appreciated, I have been looking at this brick wall since 2011.  They were my 6 x Great Grandparents.

the burial is on the Cornwall opc database

http://www.cornwall-opc-database.org/search-database/person-search/

and a scan of the register

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01h0w/

The Abigail baptised in 1684 to Stephen & Abigail didn't survive, as they had another daughter called Abigail a few years later. She is later baptised in King Charles the Martyr in Falmouth on the same day as her marriage, 31 Oct 1723, aged 25, noted "bred a Quaker" - from FreeCen.

Thank for your help.  I didn't find her on the database because I typed in St Just instead of Just St.  Abigail is a fairly common name among Quakers it seems.  I just wonder if this is the same one, baptised on marriage in 1723 aged 25 would make her birth 1698.  She would have to have been widowed before marrying again in 1728 still with RICHARDS as a surname.  Was the husband also a RICHARDS ?

The Abigail from Falmouth isn't your Abigail. She married Jon. Whear

I wonder if Abigail was a widow on her marriage to Richard. Thomas Richards married Abigail Gomer 18 April 1715, bride's abode Penzance. Possible burial for Thomas 2 June 1723 at Penzance.
Possible baptisms with father Thomas, no mothers' names noted on register at this time, abode Penzance
Jemima bp 22 May 1716
John bp 24 Aug 1722

Not that this is helping me find a baptism for Abigail as yet, but there are baptisms in Gulval with father Thomas Gomer in 1700/1 & 1702/3. On the burial of Thomas bp 1700/1, his name is noted as Gammon alias Gomer. Thomas Gaman married Margareta Jenkin 29 Jun 1699 in Gulval.
