Thanks again. Do you have a birthdate (other than just the year) for her first child with Alfred? As Alfred was in Victoria the birthdate should help with a rough estimate of conception date by which time Isabella would have to have been in Victoria - presumably!!
Just another co-incidence, which I'm sure you would have seen - Alfred and Isabella's first daughter's birth index entry in Victoria shows her as Maude FORESHEW, b 1882, and the Australian marriage index (1898) has her name as Isabel Maude FORESHAW (corrected on Ancestry to FORESHEW). A child is born in Witney UK, 1886, to Thomas W and Rachel B FORESHEW, also named Isabel Maude FORESHEW. Thomas, the Witney child's father was born in Black Bourton, Oxfordshire as, apparently, was Alfred so I assume they are related. Interesting that the names are exactly the same. (Sorry, a bit side-tracked there!)
Another aside - 3 on-line trees have a supposed daughter, Isabella SUTTON, b Jan qr 1875, reg Gateshead, Co Durham. (The tree says reg Durham, Tyne and Wear but FreeBMD has the Gateshead registration) There is a possible death registered for a child of the same name aged 0 in Carlisle, Sep qr 1875 (no other possible death for that name up to 1881). As there is no child other than son John with George SUTTON in 1881, and there is no actual evidence for the birth of a daughter, other than the name Isabella, and there is an Isabella SUTTON on the 1881 census living in Gateshead and born there in 1875 I think it's a red herring!
Interesting also that Isabella's first husband and child seem to be unknown (or not acknowledged) to whoever gave the information for the death cert to the agent.
