Rootschat - can't upload photo's

When I try to upload photo's as attachments on Rootschat I am getting the following warning:

"An Error Has Occurred!

Sorry! There is already an attachment with the same filename as the one you tried to upload. Please rename the file and try again."

I have tried to upload 3 photo's on one message.

Each photo is less than 50kb so are well within the individual and overall allowance.

I have renamed them twice but still get the same message.

I have tried uploading the messages on both Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.

I have cleared my computers cache but still no joy.

I have also just tried to upload one attachment at a time but still get the same.

Does anybody have any advice because it's very frustrating?

The file name MUST be unique within RootsChat!

What I do is to change the filename, by adding my initials to it?
E.G. photo.jpg, I would change to photo-KG.jpg.

Just to emphasise what KG has said - that means you aren't giving them a unique filename.

At the risk of being boring, why doesnt the system itself assign a unique name - after all, you never really need to remember or refer to the name again ......

Isn't that is assuming that he reads every post

If you keep an eye open, you'll notice that he does appear in a lot of threads - maybe the Titles have to be interesting tho !
