I am researching my 2nd great grandparents.

I don't really have that much information on them.
Their names are:
David Alfred Jones - BIRTH 26 JAN 1879
Gertrude Morris - BIRTH 1 MAY 1891

Their children -
Edna Gertrude Jones - BIRTH 12 FEB 1920 • Wem, Shropshire
DEATH 22 OCT 1987 • Wrekin, Shropshire (my ggrandmother)

Eric Jones - BIRTH 2 JULY 1922 • Ellesmere, Shropshire, England
DEATH MAR 2000 • North Shropshire, Shropshire

Violet M Jones - BIRTH 1928 • Oswestry, Shropshire, England, United Kingdom

Leslie Jones & Percy Jones

I have seen the 1939 census, which says the birthdates and info above. Gertrude is occupations -  charing. And David Alfred is a Farm Labourer.

I think they were both born in Montgomeryshire, as I can only find a marriage that matches information in 1911.

I can't find a baptism for him and there is no obvious 1881 entry (ie) one which shows his full middle name

There is an 1881 entry for a David A Jones aged 2 - parents Evan & Margaret - living in Kirkdale so you can use the link above to trace the entry

I agree with the marriage and birth record for Gertrude.  David birth reg is one of two in the first q of 1879 Llanfyllin reg district

I agree that the 1881 entry for Montgomery makes more sense than the Liverpool one but neither of those birth registrations have a middle name or initial
