Hi, I had a 2nd cousin who, on the 1939 Register is living at 219 Ty Brith, LLewelyn Road, Coed Poeth.

As the other occupants have a different surname, I do not think they were related to my relative and I was therefore wondering if Ty Brith was a lodging house back in 1939.

Anyone know?

Also, is the house still there?

I'm just curious really as to why my cousin was living there when he had relatives nearby.

Hello Mike,thanks for the reply.

His name was John Roberts (retired Military).He was living at Ty Brith when he passed away in May 1942.

John Roberts born in June 1867. Shows as 74 at his death in 1942.

He was my Grandfather's 1st cousin so I think that means that I'm his 1st cousin twice removed? (never quite sure I'm right when working out relationships  )
