Hi,
Trying to find out any info about a Richard Jones, esquire, of Ramsbury House, Wiltshire who married a Margaret Seymour (one of the daughters of Sir Edward Seymour of Berry Pomeroy, Baronet) around late 1600s/early 1700s.
Can't find out anything about them, dates, etc. on internet, and haven't access to Ramsbury records. All I have is below and the dates of Richard and Margaret are purely conjecture from Family Search. They might be other people.
Margaret Seymour,
bap. Ogbourne St George, co. Wilts. 18 April 1689, ?? bur. Salisbury 5 July 1743???
= before 1726, Richard Jones, esq., “of Ramsbury House, co. Wilts.”, ?? bur. Ramsbury 23 July 1756
?? Margaret Jones, youngest daughter of Richard Jones of Ramsbury Manor, Wiltshire
died 29 July 1773 aged 64 (born 1709?) (bur. Hampstead Church, M.I.)
= chapel of St John’s church, Hampstead by lic. Tuesday 26 April 1743,
Nathaniel Booth, 4th Baron Delamer of Dunham Massey, Chairman of Committees of the House of Lords 1765, born c. 1709, died 9 January 1770 aged 60 (bur. Hampstead Church, M.I.)
The Margaret Jones who married Nathaniel, Lord Delamere might be their daughter, but don't know for sure as only know her father was Richard Jones of Ramsbury.
Any additional more positive info. would be appreciated.
Many thanks, Craig
