Hi All,

I am hoping that someone might be bale to help me with this brick wall.

I am trying to find a Daniel Eammon McMullan who originally came from Rasharkin, Northern Ireland.

He was born to Daniel McMullan and Margaret Mulholland in Jun 1917 and it is believed that he went to Scotland and settled in Dumfresshire.

I would be very grateful of any help as I would like to be able to find his grave.

Have you looked for his death on Scotlands People to establish the date and exact whereabouts of his death?

The free index shows one match but spelling is McMullen not McMullan and death is that of a child

You could also try variants such as McMillan/MacMillan as either the person who registered or recorded the death may have assumed the name to be the "Scottish" version as they sound very similar in a Scottish accent?

Hi all,

Thanks very much for all your help.  I have got a little bit more information and that is he went to Paisley when he first went over so that would be 1930's or 1940's

Is there anyway to find him in Paisley at all?

His birth was 20th Sept 1918, Ballymoney, MMN Mulholland. No image available
