Entertainment during WW1

Hi
I am looking for information on my 2x great aunt Emma Cunningham. She grew up in Grimsby Lincolnshire (born 1893 in Hamburg, daughter of a painter & decorator). She sill lived in Lincolnshire in the 1911 census as single with no employment. The family story suggests she became a dancer aged 16/17 and worked as a dancer in France. I do have a picture of her taken in September 1915 in Bordeaux with her baby daughter. She reputedly married George Angel and reputedly had 3 children: George, Winifred and Ron, but I cannot find any information on any of these. I am not sure how she ended up in France (she later moved to Belgium) and what she would have done there as a dancer? I would be grateful for any ideas/help
