Charles Kimber b. 1826 Newbury, Berkshire

Hi all.
A beginning researcher here. I have researched backed to my 3rd G Grandfather Charles Kimber. I believe he was born in Jan 1826 in Newbury, Berkshire. Charles died in Aug 1913 in Clare, South Australia.
I believe he was born to a John Kimber and a Sarah (maiden name unknown)
He came to Australia on the John Woodall in 1849.
I am hoping to gain more information on his parents and am needing some guidance as to where to begin.
Any help would be fantastic.

However , whilst the above fits with likely parents and birthplace , this Charles Kimber seems to be on the 1851 census , which does not fit with his immigration date :

Charles Kimber son 26 partner in tallow chandlers
Sarah Kimber daughter 24
Martha Kimber daughter 19
address St Nicholas , Newbury , Berks

I'll try to look further , as I am sure will others.

Very strange The Newbury Charles 1826 is still in Berkshire 1851/1861/1871/1881/1891 Census.

Do you have Charles Australian Death Cert or Marriage Cert?

Hi age out a bit, but their is a Charles Kimber aged 13 at Back Lane,  Newbury?
