I've just received a copy of "Irish Families" by Edward Maclysaght in the post it's basically an Irish surname dictionary with more detail than usual given on the families (usually a half or three quarter page per surname). It's out of print and quite hard to get hold of at a decent price and so if anyone would like a lookup for any surnames of there's give me a message.
Rather oddly it was cheaper for me to pay for a copy to be shipped from America than it was to buy it in the UK!
