If it is, there are a few articles on Trove about Herbert Devine of Pirron Yallock in the Colac area, including being crowned "king of football" in 1936 at a fundraiser. http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/article/205947687?searchTerm=%22herbert%20%20devine%22&searchLimits=l-state=Victoria

So, not sure what the  connection between them is yet, but Edward Donahoe married Catherine Malloy in 1871 in Vic.
Edited: and as far as I can see, they didn't have any children of their own.

        Not sure about the connection I believe he did live at Pirron Yallock.
         Will have to check this out with Family member.
         I believe there were siblings to Herbert.

This could be possible siblings going by the parent's names

Mary Ann Devine 1878 County La Victoria
Ellen Devine 1884 Camperdown Victoria died 1885
Margaret Monica Devine 1882 Ondit Victoria she married 1908 George T Kingston she died Perth 1964
John Edward Devine 1881 Colac Victoria and a Patrick James Devine 1881 Colac looks like they are twins
Thomas Devine 1879 Colac Victoria
Philip Devine 1885 Campbells Creek
These people all have the parents as James Devine and Ellen Moor/Moore

        Thanks for all that information.
        While your hot on the trail what can be found out about Frances Mary Campbell she was his was Herbert wife.  Her parents and Siblings would be great she was born 1877 died 1951  i think she was born in the same area.
                               Please don't rush this you have done well today, I not in any hurry
