They are interesting links Lizzie  ;D

Dismo,

Did you pursue this
I suspect that Hasquin Jeffs was in fact Faustin Jeffery

In 1851 census Faustin said that he was born in Hunstpill

Hasquin was born in Bridgwater four miles away

I saw him in a bridgwater parish register transcript

his parents william and betty Jeffs

Hello Peeps

I need a search done at LMA as I live in south of France. Anyone willing to help?

The search will be through the St Giles in the Fields Parish records between 1750-1820, especially seeking a birth entry in 1789 for a Faustin Jeffery

Thanks

Checked St Giles In The Fields baptisms for 1789 & 1790 & couldn't find him there. The records are quite poor so I can't be 100% certain. St Giles In The Fields baptisms at this time run to around 1000 baptisms per year so any search could take quite some time.

Thank you so much for looking, the other thing is that he may have been baptised at St Giles Cripplegate, where he was living in 1851
