Just been looking them up Caz - they were in the game pretty early. 

There are some other photos from the 1860s on one site I was looking at. 

I still think that girl is Mary!   ;)

When I look at the "mystery" girl and the oldest photo of Mary, plus the fact that the time line for the photo fits perfectly for Mary, I've come full circle and totally agree.  It also makes sense for Annie to have a photo of her sister i.e. Mary.

Could they not both be Annie if one was taken mid 1860s and the other early 1870s....the resemblance is striking?
Scrap that...just re-read the thread and the dates don't fit  :-\
