I have traced back to Samuel, through my Grandfather Wilfred Tester, and his Grandfather Jabez Tester, which lead me to Samuel Tester who married Mary Wenham.

They had a daughter, Frances Tester who later married a John Cornwell.
The dates i have for his birth are what Ancestory website gave me. Other than that i am not to sure, and not to sure how to verify those dates.

My records show he was born in Waldron in 1784  His wife Mary apparently was born in the same year in Ticehurst.

How would i verify these dates.

I have also found something called Abstract of Administration for Samuel, but the website want to charge £3.95 for a digital copy of it, but unsure what it actually is

So that's definitely him in the 1851 census I gave you. It really depends whether or not he told a white lie about his age. If he did, he could be the Samuel baptised in 1779, but if he was telling the truth then obviously it's not him.

When did he die?

The date on Ancestry is 185 in which he died. In Mayfield. His wife Mary died in 1864 in Hurstmonceaux, Sussex,

I am guessing this is going to be the right person then.

Wow,  stuck for so long, and then join here, and moved along so easily :)   thanks guys   :)

What is the best place to do this research ? As i have only been using Ancestry website

I've answered your PM and suggested some free sites, perhaps someone can suggest others:

Family Search
Freebmd
Freereg
Sussex Online Parish Clerk
Freecen

I presume this is his death

 Samuel Tester
 1860
Registration Quarter:   Jul-Aug-Sep
Registration district:   Uckfield
Volume:   2b  Page:   57

The certificate should tell you his age at death, but would only be as good as the person who registered it knew! If you decide to get it, buy it from the GRO  http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/default.asp   not though Ancestry as that is more expensive.   If you are going to the church and he is buried there, his age may be recorded in the burial records.

If that is him, it doesn't look as if he left a will, you can check here https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk   I couldn't see one though.

Uckfield covers a few villages.  There is a burial at Hadlow Down on 26 July 1860 for Samuel Tester age 77.  Address may be Buxted.
If you join the Sussex family History Group then members have access to their online records which can be very helpful.
www.theweald.org is very good for that area too.
