Are these the same woman?

I am tryng to establish the identity of the younger woman. The photo was taken in Bath at the Friese Green studio 1881. The older lady is my great grandmother Elena West 1847-1933 she lived in Curry Rivel Somerset, but in the early 1880's lived in Bristol. What do you all think. The younger woman was in a Canadian archive of photos belonging to a cousin.
