I have Thomas and Mary married 1769. They have children 1771 and 1774 in Romford. Then there is Thomas and Ann Mawsden having a John (Thomas's father's name) in 1777. Didn't see a death for Mary after 1774 or a marriage for Thomas and Ann though? Also no more children for Thomas and Ann in Romford?

Hmm. Dates are good but quite a distance away and they have John back in Romford in 1777?

Hi a possible
I notice from his marriage on 08/09/1769 to Mary Tyler that he was from the parish of Barking, found on the record of St Peter and Paul Dagenham
Thomas Mosden born 24/07/1741 son of John and Mary Mosden

I've had no luck either with either a burial or a marriage in Romford registers. While a marriage may not be in Romford, I would expect it to be close. But if the family were established in Romford, I would expect a burial to be there.
Perhaps it was just an error on the clerk's part, writing Ann instead of Mary. I note a burial of John Mawsden (infant ) on 23 Oct 1777, perhaps he was sickly child and baptism (12 Oct 1777) was soon after birth with mother not present.
