HELLABY, ROTHERHAM, SOUTH YORKS (Fire Brigade?)

one of my friends  granddaughter has found a medal with the following inscription. It is a fire brigade service medal. L J Tiimmis 2/6/1954 5 years service Hellaby Fire Brigade. She would love to reunite with the family.
Any suggestions as to how we can trace this? This is the only place we have found with the name Hellaby, so other suggestions are welcome.

Thank you for replying. Turns out the obvious answer that I discounted was the right one. Hellaby's was a butchering company in NZ and it was their private fire brigade to protect their Butcher shops.
