Thanks David, i have seen a copy of the Karl Wood painting, have looked down Mill Marsh Road for remains but the map shows it in a different place. If it was there in 1956 there may be someone around who will remember it.

There seems to be another family at the mill in a 1856 directory name of Henry Twell, any information on this family would be appreciated.

The Census records don't show him as a miller, although the marriage record has his occupation as a baker:-

Henry Twell married Susan(nah) Heads at Moulton on 28 Dec 1836.
