Very likely as there were several outbreaks during that decade [Potato Famine] in Northern Ireland.

I wonder where the cholera victims were buried in Greenock/Port Glasgow. I a hoping there might be a list of burials or something like it.

Likely buried in a "cholera pit", hospital for infections [smallpox & cholera both stated] was The Craigieknowes Hospital according to > http://www.geos.ed.ac.uk/~scotgaz//towns/townhistory340.html

Unlikely during an epidemic, mass graves/speedy burial to prevent further spread of the disease.

 Have a look at this link http://www.geograph.org.uk/article/Greenock-Cemetery. The Greenock cholera victims were apparently buried at Duncan Street cemetery-- The Port-Glasgow ones in a mass pit at the old Blackstone cemetery.
