anne hyde

Would like to find Anne's family.   She married Thomas Johnson in Oldswinford.  I thought she was the Anne Hyde baptised in Halesowen to John and Martha but have since found that Anne on the 1841 census still as Anne Hyde.  My Anne states she was born 1811 in Worcestershire on the 1841 census when she is living in Wolverley.

Any ideas?

I guess that Ann’s death was registered in Kidderminster in 1845 & Thomas married Sarah?

The 1841 census would suggest that she was born 1807 – 1811.

Ann daughter of John HYDE & Elizabeth Baptism 26 Aug 1810 St Martin, Tipton.
She had brothers called William & Joseph and a sister Frances.

Although this is in Staffordshire, it is on the border with Dudley which is in Worcestershire but surrounded by Staffordshire and a difficult area to research.

Like you I found other possibilities but they all turned up on the 1841 census, except for Ann above.

I checked F/S for other Hyde Marriages around the Same time as Ann/Thomas at the same place.

Marriage;
25 September 1828, Old Swinford, Worcester
BENJAMIN Hyde to Hannah EDWARDS

1851 Census Benjamin is born c 1800, Sipton (Tipton), Stafffordshire
It is the correct Benjamin as his Sister in Law Mary Edwards is living with them.

Although I dont think he is Anns Brother it helps you see as Colin pointed out they often popped over to the next County to Marry.
