Margaret Jamieson/McDonald convict sent to Aus in 1840
« on: Tuesday 14 June 16 07:07 BST (UK) »
Greetings all,

Does anyone have a Margaret Jamieson - alias McDonald, or the other way around - convict sent to Australia in 1840, in their history? It's is believed she married James Neale in March 28 1842 and she died at Maitland on Feb 15th 1854. Children William Sophia & John. At time of death she was the wife of a publican in Lochivar, NSW.

I am looking for a link between her and my John Morrison/Cameron from Redcastle who listed a Margaret Jamieson as an aunt already in NSW, for the shipping log.

Thank you for the information, it is most interesting.

Now I'm hoping a connection can be made to the Morrison/Cameron's.
