Essex Record Office "Vote fu us"

Anyone who has been helped by the ERO or appreciates the valuable work they perform might care to give them a vote, the following email blog came in today.

"Vote for us!

The Essex Record Office is one of the finalists to be the Archive and Record Association’s Record Keeping Service of the Year!

You can read about all the nominated services on the ARA website, and once you’ve made your decision you can vote for your chosen service.

The key reasons for our nomination by the Friends of Historic Essex are the positive public feedback we receive, our events programme, including Heritage Open Days, our work with the University of Essex, and our use of social media to engage with audiences.

We are passionate about caring for our unique collections here at ERO, and making them available for all of you, our visitors and researchers, to use and enjoy. We hope that your experience of using the ERO has been a positive one, and we would really appreciate your support.

Voting is open until 17 July."
