I have received documents from Qld Archives before.  You have to download the pdf form and fill it in and post it.  Wills cost $18.50 for 8 pages and if more they send you a quote.  They take about 3 weeks to come in the post.

Got a quote which was too much to outlay at this point, that is why I was hoping someone going to the Qld State Archives would be kind enough to photograph this file for me.

Did you get the reference details from the QSA website?

Their website says that wills only go up to 1940:

(I haven't looked for a will for some time, and used the books on shelf rather than their website to get reference numbers).

The probate notice from Trove was the only reference we had.
Extract from the Propserpine Guardian, 24Mar 1950 (page 2 )

... "Deceased—GEORGE ABLE WARD late of Main Street, Proserpine in the State of Queensland, Solicitor.
Applicant- ROSE ANN WARD of Main Street, Proserpine aforesaid the lawful widow of the deceased and the sole executrix appointed by the Will dated 19th April, 1944."...
