Unfortunately not, as that may give indication of any relatives, but she died in a nursing home so it may have been a member of staff there. Also she did leave a will in 2005 so may have to purchase that

The University of Liverpool Library has online access to the Liverpool Daily Post and Liverpool Echo for years beginning July 2001 http://liv.ac.uk.libanswers.com/faq/49530 so it is available.

The newspapers are probably only available online to members of the university library, but the newspapers themselves will have access.

Google Wirral Globe. More chance of it being in there than the Echo.

Hello jessienicolson,

There used to be a paper titled "The Birkenhead News" which covered that area. I suspect it has ceased publication unfortunately. I found The Wirral Globe in an online search:

http://www.wirralglobe.co.uk/news/

Chester library does not keep The Liverpool Echo.

I think you need to purchase the death certificate and Will in order to obtain the information you want.

Jo.

Birkenhead News is still published under the banner of Wirral News.  Globe is by far the more popular with death notices but no harm in emailing both?
