Seeking some help to sort out some information
Roy Clarence Cecil Elliott married Victoria 1920 Ruby Wright
looking for birth certificate of Emily Ellen Elliott - think the above are the parents - have death index 1951 Victoria for Emily aged 28 (dressmaker) - Black Rock which says parents Clarence Cecil Roy and Ruby Goodwin
Found Emily buried at Brighton Cemetery, Victoria with her grandparents (Roy's parents) and two aunties
Roy was cremated at Springvale 1954
Haven't found birth for Emily or any electoral rolls and no clues to mother

Thanks - that made interesting reading, especially considering the woman who died was Sylvia Wright - could be some relation of Ruby

Sylvia's parents were George and Emily Burry. Sylvia's birth isn't on the VIC BDM site. She could possibly be the sister of Ruby if she wasn't born in VIC.

Is this Roy's death? (There are 2 Roy Elliott's deaths in 1954 on Vic BDM
added: neither of which sound like "Bob".)

Elliott On June 16 at his home, No 40 Alexandra St East St Kilda, Roy (Bob), loved pal of May. Late 1st AIF.

And funeral details say cremated at Springvale.

Yes she was Sylvia GOODWIN, and was introduced by her sister.

Thanks heaps - seems like we are putting a story together - I just found a death notice thanks to those who pointed me to Trove
Wright - 11 September, Sylvia, beloved daughter of Mrs E Goodwin (Inserted by her broken hearted mother, sisters and brothers)
This confirms the Wright and Goodwin connection albeit I don't understand it just yet
