Hi

Welcome to rootschat.

The marriage mentions that they were of Chislet.  Familysearch has baptisms with parents John & Elizabeth in Chislet

John 1741
James 1744
William 1746

thank you for looking
i noticed there was also another
john may and eliz brice 6 feb 1737 who married in chislet now i've got two
unless he got married twice or changed his mind and married the other one
what i was hoping is that john might have conections to the building trade

I would imagine the baptisms in Chislet are quite likely to be children of the John May/Eliz Brice marriage.  :'(
