Hello

Information in the Will of Ann Hood, widow, dated 1798 and Proved 1799, says she was late of Morton in the County of Lincoln but now of the town of Kingston upon Hull. Also that she and her children were to be interred in "Gainsbrough Church Yard" and a "stone for myself and children to be inserted in Gainsbrough Church Yard".

The Will also makes provision for the purchase of a Chalice for the Church at Gainsbrough ""Widow Ann Hood" to be written upon it"

I am trying to find out who her children were, if one was called George and buried Sept 1845 at Gainsborough / Morton and to see if anything possibly links to my Hood family research (which is at a dead end, currently)?

Thank you.

Kind regards, Mark
