my aunt just died recently and I'm trying to find out if there are any pictures or articles of her .. she was a nurse for over 45 yrs in Oregon . early as in 1930 and after.

The 1940 census has an Alice Walker (I don't know if it is the correct person):
Salem, Marion Co. Oregon - Salem General Hospital
Alice Walker, age 22, Single, born Oregon.  Registered Nurse. In 1935 this Ms. Walker lived in Grant County, Oregon.

Unfortunately, the nursing staff photos are from 1931.  Too early for Ms. Walker (if that was even your Alice Walker in 1940)  :-\
