Looking for any clues to trace Susanna Jarvies who married John Sheppard 30 January 1820 Saint Martin in the Fields, Westminster, London

Found Susanna Jarvis born 19 June bp 10 July 1801 - parents Thomas and Elizabeth Westminster

Also Susan Sheppard buried 14 April 1850 age 58 (born abt 1792) ST Leonard, Shoreditch

Any clues appreciated ...........Alison

If John is the wood chopper/cutter/timber divider, then they appear to have had children from 1816 (ie before they were married), so the 1801 baptism seems unlikely. However, the 1850 burial age not only fits with the 1841 census (45-49), but the address (Crooked Billet Yard) matches a couple of the baptisms, so that looks likely.

I get what you are saying but maybe she was baptised as a child (9) and not as a baby - I have recorded her birth as abt 1792 as per the census, thanks ......... Alison
