Wolverhampton/Irmingham canal people

looking to trace either Surnames of Price or Hall.
believed to be canal boat dwellers/ workers circa 1860.
anyone got any ideas as to where to research this?

Hi Carole,i see you have done a lot of research,and i suppose its like looking for a needle in a haystack really.There is a book in the archives,sometimes it lists the names of the boats,i will have a look,but the people arent really from Wolverhampton,are they?
