All this info is deffo going on my tree now! I've only just started to have a look into Sarah Ibison my 2 x great grandma but so much info already ;). I'll certainly let you guys know I might see if the family want to have a get together down there.

How lucky for you - August Bank Holiday Sunday is an ideal day take a trip there....if you do visit the Plough Inn  PLEASE let us know how you get on - I have a feeling because it is the oldest pub on the Fylde area you may just see a picture of Richard Cross - I sincerely hope you do - he may turn out to be your 4 x g grandfather ....

Yes he is- he has 3 Ibison grandchildren with him in 1881. He is an Innkeeper and Grocer.

Sarah Ibison 1879-1920  married Earnest Rawlinson
Sarah died in 211 North Rd Preston
They had five children
Robert
Georgina
Winifred Monica
Bernard
Elizabeth

Sarah was the daughter of John Ibison and Elizabeth Cross
john was the son of Richard Ibison and Emma Exton
